A Montpelier woman is sentenced. Mary Bates-Robinson gets four to six years in prison. Prosecutors say she stabbed her boyfriend on two separate occasions. She pled guilty to both. As part of the plea deal, a second count of felonious assault, as well as some domestic violence charges are dropped. We reported Bates-Robinson attacked her live-in boyfriend…stabbing him in the stomach on Feb. 5. She initially pled not guilty in that case and was released on her own recognizance, pending that she have no contact with the alleged victim. Authorities said she then stabbed her live-in boyfriend again, this time in the shoulder, about a month later.
