Edgerton officials announce…an agreement…to accept a piece of the former Edgerton Metal Products Bement Street industrial site. Officials say…the pact is contingent upon the proposal receiving funding from the state of Ohio’s Brownfield Remediation Program. An application for $900,000 dollars…going to the next round of state Brownfield funding has been submitted. The former business site has been inactive for at least a decade, and the building was demolished more than a year ago. Officials say…if the initial agreement is successful, it could expand to the rest of the site.
