The Bryan City Council approved an agreement with Flock Safety to install cameras and a monitoring system to record audio, image and date recording for automatic license plate detection. The cameras and operating system are for criminal detection…such as a person with a warrant…and investigation purposes only. Flock Safety, according to its website, “is the first public safety operating system that powers 1,500 cities to capture objective evidence, making it actionable with machine learning and delivered it directly into the hands that stop crime.
