Last year was a quiet year at Bryan’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, that’s according to a report to the Bryan Council. Officials say…the plant had a total flow of 578 million gallons, down slightly from 2021. Throughout the year, the plant dewatered and thermally dried 1.6 million gallons of digested Class B solids. That was a slight increase from 2021, when they treated 1.5 million gallons creating 229 tons of the bio-solid. When it comes to efficiency, the facility filtered out 94% of suspended solids. Ammonia nitrogen was removed at a 99% removal rate and 91% of phosphorous was removed. The plant didn’t have any major projects in 2022.
