Fewer housing units have been sold compared to last year in the area that includes Williams County for the Ohio Realtors group, while prices are higher. According to their latest report, there were 5,353 housing units sold through July in the Northwest Ohio Regional Information System. Those sold through July are 14% lower than the 6,272 sold in the region through the same time period last year. The increase in average sale price…was the second lowest in the state. Using data from Zillow, officials recently reported the cities and towns with the fastest-growing home prices in the Toledo metro area. Fayette came in at No.28, with a one-year price change of .3%. Swanton ranked 24th, with a one-year price change of 2.1%…and a five-year price change increase of 44%. Archbold came in at 16th, the highest ranking of a city or town near Williams County.
