The End

Officials for the Village of Montpelier put an end to a series of projects spanning decades at the village council’s meeting. The village has been under a long-term control plan through the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for several decades in order to complete combined sewer overflow projects, which separates storm and sewer water. With the seventh and final CSO project finished, that should complete the plan the EPA ordered. Council officially put an end to the project by approving a change order that saved the village $81,528.45. The funding will be done through a grant of $2.75 million the village has received.
