The Millcreek-West Unity Local School Board of Education gets updated on programs, geared at students’ mental and behavioral health. Superintendent Jim Wyse talked to the board about the implementation of Terrace Metrics, which helps schools monitor, measure and manage students’ behavioral health. He also talked to the board about the possibility of expanding the use of counselors to serve some students who used to meet with a former school counselor. Later in the meeting the board approved a contract addendum with the agency. The board also agreed to allow the Ohio Department of Natural Resources place an observation well on school property.
