Finally…Some Good News

For the first time in a long time, Williams County is not considered a high incidence county for COVID-19. A last check…the county had 40.9 cases per 100,000 people, well below the 100 per 100,000 threshold for high incidence. Health officials confirm…the county only had one new case of COVID between March 10 and 17. In the last week, two people were hospitalized. Since the start of the pandemic, the county has had 8,983 total cases, 378 hospitalizations and 161 deaths. Nearly 47% of people in the county have completed their first dose of the vaccine…while just under 44% have gotten all of them.
