The Bryan Board of Public Affairs approves bids for equipment in the city’s electric system upgrade project…and for a new dump truck. Bryan Municipal Utilities will spend $158,650 for the substation structures associated with the project, improving service and reliability for BMU customers. The board approved the bid of Tatman Associates, based in Solon.
The Ohio Supreme Court is considering a case that will define some of the parameters and limits of a crime victims’ rights law that amended the state’s Constitution in 2017. Ohio National Guard members who deployed to Columbus and Washington after the insurrection are back home, now. The Guard had about 500 members assisting local and state authorities in the state capitol. There were around 1,000 more providing security and other support services in the Washington, D.C. area during the presidential inauguration.
